This original contemporary artwork is created using a CNC pen plotter and ordinary ballpoint pens, drawing thousands of individual lines directly onto high-quality Fabriano art paper.
The image is built gradually, line by line, using pens of different colors. From a distance, the portrait emerges as a complete image; up close, you can discover the hundreds of overlapping strokes and the physical marks created by the pens.
The result is a unique combination of technology, generative art and traditional drawing.

A printer reproduces an image using ink dots or toner. Here, a real pen is physically moved across the paper, creating every line individually.
