Some photographs hold more than a moment.

They carry the feeling of a glance, the warmth of a presence, the echo of a time we never want to lose.

Art gives those memories a new life.

Art allows us to experience them differently.

A portrait is often connected to something deeply personal: a relationship, a family, a milestone, a memory or a chapter of life that deserves to be remembered in a meaningful way.

Rather than simply enlarging and printing a photograph, each commissioned portrait is transformed into an original artwork through a drawing process built from thousands of carefully structured lines. The photograph becomes the starting point, but the finished piece is something entirely new.

My aim is not to reproduce an image exactly as it appears. Instead, I reinterpret it, revealing new layers of depth, texture and emotion while preserving the essence of the people portrayed.

From a distance, the portrait emerges as a recognisable image. As you move closer, it reveals a complex landscape of lines, rhythms and subtle details that invite a more intimate experience.

This balance between representation and abstraction is at the heart of my artistic practice.

For more than a decade, my work as a painter has been collected internationally, with artworks now held in private collections throughout Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. These portraits are a continuation of that artistic journey: an exploration of how images can be reconstructed and transformed into something that goes beyond the original photograph.

Whether it is a portrait of yourself, a couple, a family, or a meaningful moment shared with loved ones, each piece is created individually and designed to become more than a picture on a wall.

    Choosing the Right Photograph

    The quality of the final artwork depends greatly on the quality and composition of the photograph provided.

    For the best results, photographs should be high resolution, sharp and well-lit. Images in which the subject occupies a significant portion of the frame generally produce stronger and more detailed artworks.

    Close-up photographs are particularly effective, allowing facial features, expressions and character to be captured more clearly. Images with simple or uncluttered backgrounds are also recommended, helping the subject remain the focal point of the composition.

    To preserve detail and visual impact, I generally recommend photographs featuring no more than one or two people or animals. Images containing larger groups, or subjects appearing very small within the frame, may limit the level of detail that can be achieved in the final artwork.

    Photograph Review & Commission Process

    Before any work begins, every photograph is carefully reviewed to assess its suitability for the artistic process.

    This evaluation considers image quality, resolution, composition and the potential for achieving a strong final result.

    Once the photograph has been approved, I will confirm that it is suitable for the commission. Payment can then be completed, and work on the artwork will begin.

    This process ensures that every commissioned piece starts from the strongest possible foundation and allows me to create an artwork that fully reflects the quality and character of the original image.

    Production Time & Shipping

    The average production time for a commissioned artwork is typically between two and three working days, depending on the complexity of the piece and the current volume of commissions.

    Before any work begins, you will be informed of the estimated completion time for your artwork, allowing you to confirm the commission with full transparency.

    Shipping costs are £8 within European Union countries.

    For destinations outside the European Union, shipping costs will be calculated according to the destination country. The exact shipping fee will be communicated and agreed upon before the commission is accepted and payment is made.

    My aim is to ensure that every stage of the process, from photograph review to delivery, is clear, straightforward and personalised.
