About the Artist

For more than a decade, my work has revolved around a single question: How is an image constructed? Over the years, I have worked primarily with acrylic painting on canvas, developing a body of work that has found its way into private collections around the world. My paintings have travelled across almost every country in Europe, as well as to the United States, Japan, Singapore, Australia and beyond. While painting remains at the heart of my artistic practice, my research has gradually expanded towards new visual languages and ways of image-making. This ongoing exploration has led me to investigate alternative approaches to drawing and image construction. Each work begins with a photograph, yet the final piece is not intended as a reproduction. Instead, the image is reinterpreted through thousands of intersecting and overlapping lines that gradually build a new visual reality. My role is to shape the structure of each composition: its density, rhythm, layers, colour relationships and the way the image slowly emerges from the network of lines. I am particularly interested in the space that exists between representation and abstraction; between what the eye immediately recognises and what only reveals itself through closer observation. Each artwork is the result of this process. It is not a reproduction. It is not a print. It is a physical drawing constructed line by line on paper  

Line by Line

After more than ten years dedicated to painting, and with hundreds of artworks now held in private collections around the world, I have entered a new phase of visual exploration. My works transform photographs into compositions built from thousands of layered lines. Through a highly precise drawing process, the image gradually emerges, finding a balance between representation and abstraction. Each piece is individually created on fine art paper, numbered and signed. Rather than reproducing a photograph, my aim is to reinterpret it and reveal a different way of seeing. Ballpoint pen artwork
